Michael Benash is a Client Specialist with the Zoltak Funke Group. Since joining Baird in 2021, Michael has built a strong foundation in client service, beginning his career in Trading Operations before transitioning to the team in 2024. His experience across multiple areas of the firm enables him to provide clients with responsive service and thoughtful support throughout their financial journey. Michael holds the FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses.
Born and raised in New Berlin, Wisconsin, Michael now resides in Hartland, Wisconsin with his fiancée, Hannah, and their dog, Milo. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Marketing from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2018. While attending Concordia, Michael was a four-year member of the men's soccer team, where he developed the teamwork, discipline, and competitive spirit that continue to guide his professional approach today.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys staying active through soccer, tennis, volleyball, and snowboarding. He is also passionate about giving back to the community and regularly volunteers with Hunger Task Force, helping provide nutritious food to low-income seniors throughout southeastern Wisconsin.
